H. Vestibule Jr. was seven years old when his father published the book that made the family name synonymous with structural philosophy. He is now thirty-four. This is his first book.
It is a board book with twelve spreads. Each spread shows a wall and a short sentence. The sentences are: 'This is a wall.' 'Some walls hold things up.' 'Some walls just divide.' 'This wall is thinking.' 'All walls have been somewhere for a long time.' 'Thank the wall.' 'The wall does not need your thanks, but it is a good practice.'
The final spread is a mirror.
Harold keeps this in the children's section and also on his personal desk. He has not addressed the apparent contradiction. There is no contradiction.
