Books are sold as books. They contain words and sometimes images arranged by their authors. Harold does not guarantee that any book will change your life, though several of them might. He does guarantee that they are books.
Books may be returned within fourteen days if unread. Harold can tell if a book has been read. He has not explained how. Customers who attempt to return read books and claim otherwise have described the experience as specific.
Harold ships books. He does not rush. The books arrive in the condition they left, which is new. The packaging is brown paper. This is the packaging Harold prefers. It is also, he notes, the packaging that books have always preferred.
In the event of a dispute, Harold's preference is a conversation. If a conversation is not possible, Harold's second preference is a letter. Harold reads letters. He responds to letters. He considers this the appropriate way to handle a dispute about books.
